Pellicano restaurant is a family owned establishment, which opened in August 2000. Our philosophy is to serve wholesome, freshly made food in a warm and friendly environment. We pride ourselves on our approach to customer service and ensuring all our guests are well catered for.
Marcello Vargiu came to London in 1976, having worked in Sardinia, Switzerland and Milan. He opened his first restaurant - Ciboure in 1982. He later worked with Gino Santin at Santini , Santini Milan and L'incontro. He continues to work Front of House and leads by his experience and enthusiasm, still serving loyal customers from his Ciboure days.
Pietro Rinaldi has worked with Marcello for over 20 years at both L'incontro, Santini Milan and Pellicano. Pietro also works Front of House and employs the same approach to customer service, to ensure consistency for our clients.
Daniele Vedovetto is the Head Chef. His mix of traditional Sardinian dishes, coupled with a modern twist on Italian classics, makes for an interesting and varied menu, which changes with the seasons. He also presents a weekly "seasonal specials" menu, which offers variety to the Pellicano staples.
Pellicano offers a varied and extensive wine list. Traditional Italian classics sit alongside newcomers to the Sardinian wine industry, which provides the perfect selection to compliment all of our dishes.
